There is magic in film. Since the creation of the first photograph we have tried to capture, formulate, and reproduce this magic. Why is there over a century of intense research on this medium of light and color? What makes film so magnetic in its ability to draw emotion?

The definition of insanity is repeating the same thing expecting a different result. As filmmakers we are already a bit on the nutty side. Making movies and videos is by its nature chaotic and messy. Having to manage many shifting parameters, sound design, pacing, color, and music.
